SEISMIC RETROFIT - ProShot Concrete recently reinforced walls at Memphis' historic Downtown Customs House and Post Office. The building is being converted into The University of Memphis' Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.

The steel and shotcrete reinforcements to the historic foundation and walls meet the city's modern-day earthquake code and create a safe environment for years to come. The primary shotcrete reinforcement was added to the building's interior corners. Other interior walls received 12 inches of shotcrete to create a reinforced shell before the interior framework was demolished to allow for new floor plans.
