What is Pressure Grout?

Sanitary and storm lines under city streets and residential areas should be inspected to determine if voids exist. The filling of these voids by internal pressure grouting will not only increase the load-bearing capacity of the structure, but also will prevent infiltration and exfiltration.

The slightest shift in a foundation or footing can cause extensive damage to machinery, buildings and construction projects. Stabilizing surrounding soil by injecting with pressure grout prevents such damage.
The heavy equipment used in many plants today can place enormous loads on concrete floors. Pressure grouting helps strengthen and stabilize the floor and foundation to prevent major failures.
Water and sewage officials are often troubled by leaking manholes. Pressure grout applied from inside the man-hole will quickly eliminate the leakage as well as stabilize the surrounding soil and the manhole structure.
Sub terrain faults and pockets can cause serious leaks and seepage in man-made reservoirs and ponds. Pressure grouting can quickly and economically seal all the filtrations and stabilize the surrounding soil.

Definition of Pressure Grout

Pressure Grouting is the process of injecting a specified grout material under pressure to:

  • Seal cracks in concrete and masonry structures
  • Stabilize soil conditions under existing concrete slabs
  • Fill voids behind retaining walls, below slabs and behind and under sewer structures.
  • Eliminates infiltration and exfiltration of sewers, manholes, basins, holding tanks, ponds, etc.
