Betty has worked as a job researcher for the past 52 years in the Shotcrete Construction field for various companies. Betty attended the American Business School and other continuing education programs.

Betty has worked on almost all of Proshot's projects, but she is most proud to have played a part in the following projects during her career:

• The University of Memphis' Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law - Memphis, Tennessee
• Hawkeye Sanitary Sewer Improvements - Burlington, Iowa
• Maryland DOT Invert Paving and Repairs
• Craney Island Fuel Terminal Pier Repairs - Portsmouth, Virginia
