Albert Pugliese

Regional Manager - 24 years in Shotcrete Construction

Albert has been with ProShot Concrete since it's inception in 2006 and started with Pressure Concrete in 2000. He is the Regional Manager for our Northeast Region and also assists in specialty projects nationwide. Albert is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University (1988) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. His Shotcrete/gunite experience started in 1990 while developing SewperCoat (manufactured by Lafarge Calcium Aluminates) for the gunite process as well as other spray applications.

Bill has been in construction for over 32 years specializing in bridge and roadway maintenance starting as a laborer working my way through the ranks. I was Vice President of my prior company until the untimely death of the owner resulting in its closing. In 2010 I started working for Proshot Concrete as an estimator/project manager.

Bill Varis

Project Manager - 16 years Heavy Concrete Construction experience

Bill has been in the heavy concrete construction industry including FDOT roadway, bridges, piers, and vertical structures for the past 15 years. He is a graduate of The University of Central Florida (1997) with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering Technology. He obtained his Certified General Contractors license (#CGC062707) in the state of Florida in 1999 and has recently completed the Primavera P6 training. Bill’s responsibilities with Proshot Concrete will encompass project scheduling, cost analysis,AutoCAD asbuilts, project management and working with clients, project owners and engineering consultants.

Donnie Barnes

Secretary / Treasurer

As the Secretary/Treasurer Donnie Barnes is responsible for the overall financial strategy and day-to-day financial and accounting operations of Proshot Concrete, Inc. He works closely with Job Superintendents and Project Managers to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and within budget. Donnie is also responsible for maintaining required qualification applications in each state of operation. He has over 14 years of experience in the Shotcrete Industry.

Donnie received a BS in Marketing in 1984 and a BS in Accounting in 1991. Prior to the creation of Proshot Concrete, Inc. Donnie’s experience included the management of accounting areas in Apparel Manufacturing, Machinery Distribution and Robotics, and Copper Tube Manufacturing.

Keith joined the Shotcrete Construction industry in 1982 as a laborer. He worked for a time as a nozzle man and eventually became a superintendent. In 2008 Keith rejoined the Proshot’s team as a superintendent specializing in sewer repair and rehabilitation.

Senior Estimator / Project Manager - 35 years of experience in the Shotcrete Industry


Pat entered the shotcrete industry with Pressure Concrete, Inc. in 1981 as a laborer and progressed through the company as a gun operator, nozzleman, superintendent, and project manager while progressing to his current position of Senior Estimator/Project Manager. His responsibilities include inspections, project takeoffs & estimating, preparing of submittals, drafting proposals, overseeing of projects, billings, project scheduling, locating subcontractors, minority subcontractors, and working with clients, project owners and engineering consultants.

Pete Malone

Operations Manager/Dispatch/Truck Driver / Assists with Human Resources & Inventory Control

Pete graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1985 and began a management career that lasted 22 years for several retail and service companies. He decided to switch careers in 2007 and joined the Proshot team. Along with his responsibilities as the company truck driver, Pete's duties include inventory control, and human resources.

Tony McDougle

Owner / General Manager

As the owner and President, Tony McDougle is responsible for managing the daily operations of Proshot Concrete, Inc. He oversees all aspects of project implementation through completion. Tony’s responsibilities include coordinating work crews, equipment and supplies to make certain the timely completion of projects. He acts as a liaison with the appropriate Project Managers and Inspectors to ensure adherence to plan specifications and project logistics. Tony has 23 years of experience in the shotcrete industry, land development and domestic and commercial construction.

Jeremy Simpson

Superintendent-19 years of experience in the Shotcrete Industry

Jeremy Simpson has been in the Shotcrete and gunite industry for 19 years. He has been a member of the National Shotcrete Association for 8 years. Jeremy has taken part and overseen numerous major Shotcrete and gunite jobs. He has also worked for many private contractors and done miles of culvert and pipe clean out and rehabilitation. Jeremy has worked on numerous occasions with the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Tennessee Valley Authority [TVA]. He continues to oversee projects for Alabama DOT, Florida DOT, Louisiana DOT, Indiana DOT, Illinois DOT and the Kentucky DOT.He has also worked for many private contractors and done miles of culvert and pipe.

Jeremy is proud to have worked on the following projects:

  • Complete renovation of the Walcott Virginia Waste Water Treatment Plant
  • Supervised the demolition and new contruction of the Bake Furnaces in the Alcoa Aluminum Plant Alcoa Tennessee
  • Oversaw the renovation and new construction of over 700 swimming polls including many city pools and majot water parks
